Our Founder and CEO, J.E. Pabon, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist & Infertility Specialist established our Sarasota Clinic in 1997 and our South Clinic in Bonita Springs in 2005.
Our Fertility Clinic serves patients with Infertility problems. Single patients or couples of all backgrounds are welcome.
We evaluate and treat patients that need help with
Our good reputation and results brings us patients from all over the world.
As most medical services and almost all Fertility Clinics have become impersonal Corporate Entities, we have chosen to remain independent so we can continue to provide uniquely personal attention to each patient by their physician, Dr. Pabon.

Our two offices are strategically located near Highway 75 in Sarasota and Bonita Springs, Florida. Their location is convenient for patients in Florida’s West Coast with access from Tampa international airport (TPA), Sarasota/Bradenton airport (SRQ), the Ft. Myers/Naples international airport (RSW), and the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD). Patients that are far away can have a consultation over the phone or on Skype.
The main office in Sarasota has an in office IVF and Andrology laboratory. The Bonita Springs office has an Andrology laboratory and is currently a satellite office for consultation and monitoring of IVF and surgical patients.
Patients need to be aware that the Bonita Springs office functions as a satellite office for consultation, testing, and monitoring of our fertility clinic’s patients. All major procedures are done in Sarasota.

Unlike most IVF and Reproductive Endocrinology clinics, personal attention by the physician is the rule. Dr. Pabon is a nationally recognized physician in his specialty. He has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by U.S. News and World Report and by the Castle Connolly agency. These awards are given to the best of the best as determined by the votes of other physicians.

Dr. Pabon and our team has been recognized by receiving awards such as the “Compassionate Doctor” award as well as a the “Patients’ Choice” awards.
In addition, we have been recognized by the American Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology as an outstanding practice by achieving success rates above the national average while having few multiple pregnancies.
Dr. Pabon’s good reputation has grown since he began private practice in 1995. As a result, we treat patients from all of Florida, the eastern United States, Canada, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Many patients come because Florida is a second home, a vacation destination or because they seek special services such as egg donation, surrogacy, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, sex selection (family balancing) or even surgical treatment for infertility such as microsurgical tubal reversals.
Fertility Center and Applied Genetics of Florida and the Sarasota offices of Julio E. Pabon, M.D., P.A. have an in-office “in vitro” fertilization laboratory capable of prolonged pre-embryo culture and micromanipulations such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), laser assisted hatching and laser assisted pre-embryo biopsies (PGTa/PGTd : former terms = PGD/PGS). In addition, there is an andrology and cryobiology laboratory. Our fertility clinic’s diagnostic labs are accredited by the state of Florida Agency for Health Care
Administration.
We are registered and receive oversight and inspections from the Florida Board of Medicine, the Florida Board of medicine Office Surgery Division, Sarasota County Health Dept., Lee County Health Dept., the Federal Drug Administration (FDA), The National Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Laboratory Division, and have federal CLIA registrations for both office laboratory locations. Diagnostic lab. procedures comply with the World Health Organization guidelines as well a the American Association of Bioanalysts’ guidelines for quality control.
An embryologist is a biologist with extensive laboratory experience in mammalian reproduction. Our embryologists all have at least 10-15 years of experience in the field as senior embryologists. They are all proficient in all aspects of in-vitro fertilization, andrology, cryobiology, and micromanipulations such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection, assisted hatching, and embryo biopsies. Part of what makes Fertility Center and Applied Genetics of Florida special is that you can be confident that your lab procedures are being carried out by senior embryologists and not trainees or junior embryologists.
Since our beginning in July 1998, more than 50% of our patients have achieved a pregnancy. Individual chance of success depends on the age of the female partner and the specific diagnosis. Please look at our Stats page for up to date information.
Both our IVF patients and outpatient tubal reversal patients in our fertility clinic receive treatment with the assistance of Board Certified Medical Doctor Anesthesiologists and C.R.N.A.s The anesthesia providers that attend the Sarasota office rotate from the Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. They are physicians and C.R.N.A.s that routinely care for complicated patients in all specialties of medicine such as orthopaedics, thoracic, heart, vascular, gynecology, and neurosurgery to name a few.
Dr. Pabon’s training in reproductive surgery included extensive microsurgical training both during his residency training and fellowship. He performed his first microsurgical tubal ligation reversal in 1990. That initial surgery was a success. Dr. Pabon received a gift of a fancy business card holder from this first brave patient as a thank you gesture for a successful surgery and pregnancy.
